The Head of State Paul Biya orders the release of Ayah Paul, Felix Agbor Kongho, Neba Fontom and Co. The decision was read this Wednesday 30 August 2017 at 5 pm on the national station.
So many didn’t expect that President Biya will take such an action. He has ordered the Release of Anglophone Detainees, who were arrested in the wake of the strike action embarked on by Common Law Lawyers and the Anglophone Teachers Trade Unions.
The Move by the Head of State is to assuage the striking Anglophones and to instil confidence in the parents to send their children back to school on September 4
The move have been seen by many as a healing process to those who have been battered by gross marginalisation for over five decades.
The billion dollar question now is WHAT NEXT?”
