Ghost Towns have been an effective move used by Anglophone Cameroon activists to pass across a sttong message to the Government that the people are not happy. This has been respected through out the anglophone regions for months now.
The Minister of Finance, in a communique addressed to the Bank Manager of NFC Bamenda has threatened to withdraw its license. This is because the bank has been closing its doors on Business Days aka Ghost Town Days. ( Kontri Sundays).
The minister calls on the bank to go functional on all working days so as to avoid immediate sactions. Read the communique below;
