On the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the President of the United States organized a dinner with African heads of state at the White House to which Paul Biya was alledgely not invited. The ceremony was presented by Trump’s advisor in charge of foreign affairs.
The meeting was attended by the presidents: Musseveni of Uganda, Jacob Zuma of South Africa, Alassane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire, Alpha Conde of Guinea and representative of the African Union, Macky Sall of Senegal
Buhari of Nigeria, Akufo Ado of Ghana and Prime Minister of Ethiopia, as well as representatives of certain countries. But even there Cameroon was not present.
Trade, security and terrorism furnished Trump’s speech. He also announced the visit of an American delegation to promote global security on the continent. He stressed in his speech that “a free, independent and democratic State is the best for the success and happiness of humanity”. After the US president, Alpha Condé spoke as president of the African Union, where he called for better partnership.
